When you visit the Eiffel Tower, consider spending some time at Champ de Mars, or the Field of Mars in English, an area between the Eiffel Tower and École Militaire on the left bank of the river Seine. Champ de Mars is a green area, where you can enjoy the views of the Eiffel Tower and get some rest during sightseeing in Paris. It might be a good idea to have a picnic here, weather permitting. The best views of the Champ de Mars is from the Eiffel Tower.
